I’m Mara Goes and as a kid I spent my days having fun with my pet monkey Chico. But now I’m all grown up, I have fun creating memorable user experiences.

I’m always curious about understanding human needs and enjoy problem solving, with a passion for user & data informed insights - I love nothing more than creating meaningful products. I’m excited to work in cross-functional teams that are collaborative, hard working and enjoy getting things done.

EXPERIENCE

I have 20 years of experience working in large corporations and startups. I’m currently leading UX design initiatives at Google, where I specialise in crafting experiences that elevate the day-to-day activities of millions of users worldwide. I’ve worked across multiple teams, products and organisations on both consumer and enterprise - and even had the unique opportunity of being a co-founder in Area 120.

Previously, my design journey included working at companies such as PayPal, Disney, Endemol and Hailo.
